  • 33 hours dual flight instruction in a Cessna 172 @$267/hr. – $8811
  • 12 hours solo flight time in a Cessna 172 @ $189/hr – $2268
  • Total cost including ground school ($650) and books ($450) is $12,179 based on the minimum number of flight hours.
  • Flight instructor rate – $78 per hour for Class IV. $85 per hour for Class I and II.
  • Long Point Ecosystem Tour: $349 for up to 3 people with a weight restriction of 500 lbs.
